Nyíregyháza Zoo – Ice World
The Ice Palace, with its hundreds of square meters of glass surfaces and diverse interior areas, including rooms with temperatures below 0°C and sections with snowfall, offers a unique experience.
The building features mammoths and mammoth skeletons that evoke the Ice Age from 10,000 years ago, while one of the main attractions from a zoological perspective is the polar bear breeding center, where the world’s largest land predator can be observed in a unique way.
The king penguin exhibition hall, along with other penguin species such as the rockhopper and Humboldt penguins, provides additional highlights.
The external enclosure extends from Alaska to Siberia, and includes residents such as the bald eagle and Steller’s sea eagle.
